A spectacular Fascinator with a spray of incandescent feathers in tones of black and a hint of bluebottle green, curve dramatically over the head. A further jet black feather wing is the backing for a vintage patina filigree buckle (signed LW Paris). Trimmed with delicate 1960's netting and a gorgeous hand carved skull. Attaches to the head on a black metal 'Alice' band. Comes complete with a black  birdcage veil which attaches separately. One of a kind.

Moulin Rouge style double sided headdress.  Two identical plumes of curled black feathers hand sewn with 1930's era lace appliqués and vintage black glass faceted stones. Joins across the forehead with a double row of faceted jet beads.  Each plume measures approx 5" long.  Attaches flat to the head with small discreet black metal clip combs  Click on the images for a front view.  Very limited edition.

Jet black cord textile with beautiful scroll detailing.  Dates from the late 1800's and still in excellent condition.  Sturdy yet durable you wont find anything else quite like it.  Hand sewn with a Victorian era buckle featuring cut jet glass and finished with an incredible spray of iridescent (hint of green) black feathers.  Measures approx 8 1/2" across and 9" long.
