At Augusta Jewellery we care passionately about the environment and will never stop looking for ways to improve.

We are proud to say all that our jewellery and packaging is completely plastic free. All our promotional postcards/inserts are from Vistaprint who are FSC certified. Our gift boxes are from Westpack and made from recycled card. The FSC mark guarantees that the paper and card come from forests where no more trees are cut down than the forest can reproduce. This means better protection for animals and plant life. All foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage. Find out more at www.fsc.org.

We ensure that the materials used for our jewellery is ethically and responsibly sourced.  Our suppliers are trusted businesses who care about their environment and local communities. 

The majority of gemstones in our collection are selected because they come from countries governed by strict labour and environmental laws (for example Larvikite and Labradorite which come from northern territories like Canada, Finland and Norway). Gemstones such as Quartz, Amethyst, Garnet and Amazonite can be mined in several locations throughout the world. When selecting a supplier we always question whether they pay their workers a fair wage and practice health & safety. Furthermore, we will never use gemstones with a general bad reputation (for example Jade, Coral, Malachite or Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan). 

If we are in any doubt whatsoever about the ethics of our suppliers, we cease to use them immediately.
